I just finished my interview for the job of Miss Ohio Teen Volunteer, and I’m feeling so grateful for this opportunity and everything still to come today!! I’m so thankful I got the chance to share my heart, my passions, and a little more about who I am with the judges! 🩷✨🤟🏼

I am going into the rest of today with a grateful heart and a whole lot to praise Him for! No matter what happens, I know it’s all in God’s hands and on His timing, and I’m so excited to see what He has planned for me!

Today was another day FULL of prep for this weekend!
I started off my day by picking up my wardrobe, before heading to JDSD to practice my talent with Cicely! 🥰

Day 28 of my 30-Day countdown to Miss Ohio Volunteer!! 👑✨

Today was FULL of pageant prep! I got my hair and makeup done, finished packing all of my things, practiced my talent, and even had a mock pageant to put everything I’ve been working on into practice!

I also had another mock interview with my coach, which gave me one more chance to practice sharing my story and getting ready for that interview room! 🤍 And to finish off the day, my wardrobe is officially FINALIZED!! 👗✨

So many little details have gone into preparing for this week, and I can’t believe we are this close! The bags are packed, the outfits are ready, and now it’s almost showtime!! 💜👑✨

Day 27 of my 30-Day countdown to Miss Ohio Teen Volunteer! ✨

Today started with a hair wash day (the girls get it), and somewhere in between, I received one of the most exciting emails EVER from Ohio State!! I can’t share too much just yet, but I am beyond excited about this opportunity, so everyone keep your fingers AND toes crossed for me! 🤞🏼

Then I headed to see Lila for my hair appointment, and as always, she absolutely killed it! I seriously love love love hair days with her! 🫶🏼

After that, it was time for another visit with THE BEST dentist ever and, of course, Hope! And yes… I had to check out my smile LOL.

I grabbed a quick dinner with my dad before heading into another night of interview prep! I had a mock interview with Miss East, Natali, and then got thrown right into a completely on-the-spot mock interview... which is always great practice for competition weekend!

Finally, I came home and started packing for competition weekend!! It feels so crazy to even say that. Everything is starting to feel so real, and we are officially getting SO close! 🥹💜

Only THREE more days to go!! 👑

Day 27 of my 30-Day countdown to Miss Ohio Teen Volunteer! ✨

I picked up my gown from Henri’s (and saw all of my friends ☺️), grabbed lunch with a friend, and then spent the afternoon getting some work in!

I had meetings with @alexanne.eskewconsulting working on all things social media and squeezed in a few mock interviews with @raechel__w to keep preparing for the conversations ahead. Then it was back home for family dinner to end the day. 🤍

So many little things are coming together, and it’s making everything feel more and more REAL! The countdown is officially on! ✨

I picked up my gown from Henri’s (and saw all of my friends ☺️), grabbed lunch with a friend, and then spent the afternoon getting some work in!

Day 25 of my 30-Day countdown to Miss Ohio Teen Volunteer! ☺️

Yesterday was such a fun one! I had the chance to do a mock interview with a panel of judges, and I seriously had the best time.

We spent just as much time laughing as we did actually interviewing, but I am SO thankful for all of the feedback, advice, and encouragement they gave me. Getting to practice and hear their perspectives made me even more excited for this weekend! 💜

Afterward, I got to have dinner with my family, and then Carly and I ended the night having WAY too much fun.

Days like these are such a good reminder that this journey is about so much more than the countdown… it’s about the people and the memories along the way. 🫶🏼

So thankful for everyone who continues to pour into me and make this journey so much fun. One day closer!! 👑✨

Day 23 of my 30-Day countdown to Miss Ohio Teen Volunteer! 🤍🎡

I spent the day at the Scioto County Fair, and it was exactly what I needed!! Between eating way too much fair food (zero regrets), cheering on my dad in the bus demolition derby, and catching up with so many of my friends, it was such a fun day!! 🥰

Walking around the fairgrounds brought back so many memories from when I showed horses. Some of my favorite childhood memories were made here, and being back reminded me why I loved it so much!

So thankful for days like today. ❤️✨

Today’s prep took me on a little road trip to Henri’s to pick up the finishing touches for my opening number outfit... but I got put to work! 😂

I spent the evening putting together a hype video for my dad because tomorrow he’s driving in the Scioto County Fair Bus Derby!

If you know my family, you know we’re always finding something fun to cheer each other on in, and tomorrow is no exception!

Day 21 of my 30-Day countdown to Miss Ohio Teen Volunteer! 💖

I spent literally all day cleaning my room, and getting all my things prepared for college move-in!!
I took a break in the middle of the day for the BEST massage at Amelia Gray that my sweet friend booked for me, and it was exactly what I needed before heading right back to cleaning.

After finally finishing my room (which felt like a never-ending project 😅), I ended my night working on Hero Toolkits. It was the perfect way to wrap up the day because every toolkit reminds me why this journey means so much to me. Knowing they’ll be used to encourage and support others always makes the work worth it!

Not every day on this countdown is packed with events or appearances, but today was a good reminder that taking care of yourself, tackling the things you’ve been putting off, and continuing to invest in your purpose are all wins worth celebrating! ☺️

This morning started with a drive to Columbus to volunteer with @secondandseven! If you’ve never heard of them, their mission is to promote reading by providing free books and positive role models to children while encouraging them to develop a love for literacy. I absolutely love everything they’re doing to help children discover the joy of reading, and it was such a privilege to spend part of my day with them!

After volunteering, I grabbed lunch with my sweet friend @cicely.esterline before making the drive back home. Then, I did what anyone would do after a full day on the road… I came home and immediately crashed. 😂

One of my favorite parts of this journey has been finding opportunities to serve alongside organizations that are making a real difference in their communities.

Today was a great reminder that even the smallest acts of service can help create brighter futures, and I’m so grateful I got to be a small part of that mission.

Only 10 more days to go! ✨

What a sweet way to spend my morning! ❤️📚

Today, I had the opportunity to volunteer with 2nd & 7 in Columbus, and it was such a rewarding experience. Their mission of putting books into the hands of children and encouraging a love of reading is something I truly admire.

Every child deserves the chance to discover a story that inspires them, and I love seeing organizations that are making that happen every single day.

Service has always been one of my favorite parts of this journey because it allows me to meet incredible people and learn about organizations that are making such a difference in our communities. I’m so thankful I had the chance to spend my morning giving back alongside the amazing team at 2nd & 7.

And as if I needed another reason to love this organization… I found out the founders are Ohio State alumni! I guess you could say that made me feel right at home. 😉🌰

This definitely won’t be my last time with 2nd & 7! You’ll be seeing a lot more of us together! I’m so excited to continue volunteering with this incredible organization and supporting a mission that means so much to me.

Behind every dream I’ve chased is a community that never stopped believing in me. 💖

If you know me, or if you’ve seen any of my videos, you’ve probably noticed that I’m always on the go. Between school, pageants, work, traveling, and everything in between, one of the questions I get asked the most is, “How do you do it all?” 😅

My answer is always the same: my people!!

I have been incredibly blessed with the most amazing community. From my hometown in Portsmouth, to my Buckeye family at Ohio State, to the friendships I’ve found through pageantry, I am constantly surrounded by people who believe in me, encourage me, pray for me, celebrate every win, and pick me up when I need it most.

There are so many faces, memories, and moments that aren’t shown here, but please know that if you’ve ever supported me, cheered me on, offered a kind word, shown up to an event, or simply believed in me... you’ve made a difference. 🫶🏻

Day 19 of my 30-Day countdown to Miss Ohio Teen Volunteer!

I started my morning with a meeting with one of our incredible past Miss Ohio Volunteer, @brittney_herman! I’m so thankful for the opportunity to learn from women who have walked this journey before me and are always willing to pour into others!! 🥰

After that, I changed into my super cute set from @futuresfivestar and headed to Ohio State’s campus for my final summer exam! I’m so excited to officially say that summer classes are DONE! One more thing checked off the list before another exciting semester ahead. 😅

To wrap up the day, I picked up a few last-minute essentials for my dorm before move-in. It’s crazy how quickly this summer has flown by, but I’m so excited for everything this next season has in store!

Day 18 of my 30-Day countdown to Miss Ohio Teen Volunteer! 💜✨

I spent the afternoon with my family eating burgers, playing cards, and hanging out by the pool. I also got to create some content for some of our amazing volunteer girlies, which is always so much fun! 🤍

One of the highlights of my day was catching up with one of my very first pageant friends, @cicely.esterline. It’s crazy how pageantry brings people into your life that stay with you for years! 🫶

And while it isn’t pictured, I also had a mock interview with @geraldodom.eskewconsulting! Every conversation and every bit of preparation is helping me feel more ready for pageant weekend coming up!

From a dental visit to purse bingo with some of my favorite people, I got to spend the day surrounded by people who always make me smile.

I also officially finished my LAST bit of homework for my summer classes!! 🥳

My why.

When I was 10 years old, my life changed overnight. Within 24 hours, I packed everything I owned, left my home, and moved across the country because of addiction.

As a child, I didn’t understand addiction. I only understood the confusion, fear, and uncertainty that came with it. I carried emotions I didn’t know how to express and had questions no child should have to ask.

What made it even harder was the silence. No one talked about the children affected by addiction, so I convinced myself I had to carry my story alone, and in silence.

For years, I was afraid to tell people that substance use disorder was part of my story. I was worried they would see me differently. I thought it was easier to stay quiet than to be vulnerable.

The more I shared my story, the more I met people who quietly said, “Me too.” I discovered that countless children and families are living through the same pain, yet so many feel invisible.

That’s why I created Hidden Struggles: Battling Addiction.

My S.E.R.V.E. initiative is called “Hidden Struggles: Battling Addiction” because so many people silently carry burdens no one else can see. I know that feeling.

Through open and vulnerable conversations, I want every child impacted by family addiction to know they are seen, they are supported, and someone else’s choices never define them.

For years, I thought that chapter of my life would define the rest of my life. Instead, it became the very reason I found my purpose.

I’ve learned that although our hidden struggles may shape our stories, they never have to define our futures.

My why.
